How to pick a tier:
Standard — modern fiction, clean prose, ≤4 main speaking voices, no accent work.Complex — historical settings, period vocabulary, regional dialect, 4–8 voices, or alternating POVs.High — heavy dialect throughout, 8+ voices, layered ensemble dialogue, dense literary prose.Bespoke — stream-of-consciousness, invented vocabulary, or anything that pushes past what AI prep can deliver at quality. How this is priced. Prep is $3.50 per 1,000 words × complexity. Proofing is $8.00 per 1,000 words × complexity. Both products share the same complexity tier — whatever the manuscript scores on the v5 prep card sets the tier for both. Reproof is 50% of the proof price. Floors apply at the per-product level, not the combined total.
